GOOD LUCK TO ALL THE NOMINEES SHORTLISTED FOR THE FLEET HERO AWARDS 2017

The Energy Saving Trust has announced the 28 fleets, organisations and suppliers shortlisted for the Fleet Hero Awards 2017.

Now in its 12th year, the awards recognises and celebrates organisations, suppliers and manufacturers that have successfully reduced fuel bills and lowered their emissions and carbon footprint through better transport policies and improved fleet efficiency.

The winners will be announced on the evening of November 9 at the Museum of London Docklands where attendees will have the opportunity to network with government representatives, fleet decision makers, vehicle manufacturers and suppliers.

During the afternoon, delegates will also have the opportunity to attend the Fleet Hero Conference which brings together expert speakers to discuss the joint challenges of tackling air quality and carbon emissions.

Energy Saving Trust’s chief executive Philip Sellwood said: “This year’s Fleet Hero Awards is our 12th celebration of sustainable fleet management and low emission transport and it remains a great opportunity to meet with leaders in the transport and fleet management industry.

“This year we have included an ultra-low emission infrastructure award recognising fleet managers and transport planners who are showcasing best practice when planning and installing charging equipment for plug-in vehicles – a vital step to ensuring efficient and reliable operation as these vehicles become more widely available.”
